GT-RA14 Dry Microbial Penetration Resistance Tester

Application
This dry microbial penetration resistance tester is applicable for surgical drapes, gowns and clean air suits to test the resistance of dry microbial penetration. It is composed of microbial aerosol generator, main detector, control system and other parts.

How to work?
The test is carried out on test pieces each fixed in a container. In every container except one a portion of talc contaminated with Bacillus subtilis is poured on the test piece. One container is left uncontaminated as a control. A sedimentation plate is inserted at the base of each container at a short distance below the test piece. The apparatus supporting the containers is then vibrated by a pneumatic ball vibrator. The talc that penetrates is captured on the sedimentation plate. The sedimentation plates are removed and incubated. The numbers of colonies produced are counted.

8.1 The biosafety cabinet adopts four sides of negative pressure: that is, the left and right sides, rear and bottom walls of the whole device are all negative pressure air ducts, so that the working area and the external environment form a double-layer isolation of the air curtain and the box body, and the working area is surrounded by negative pressure environment to ensure that the sample does not leak.

8.3 Airtightness of air passage: the air passage of the device is under the pressure of 500pa for 30 minutes, and the pressure drop is ≤ 10%. There is no bubble in the penetration part in soap bubble test

8.12 Ultra high efficiency filter is suitable for filtering particles, smoke and microorganisms in the air. The filtration efficiency of imported Ultra Low Particulate Air (ULPA) is over 99.999% (adopting 0.3 μ m PAO method), which makes the cleanliness of working space reach 100 level. Equipped with a dual channel digital differential pressure display and electronic alarm system, it can dynamically display the pressure loss of exhausting and supplying air filters, the downdraft flow rate and inflow flow rate in the operation area, as well as dual detection. When the fluctuation of downflow velocity and inflow velocity exceeds 20% of its nominal value, the audible and visual alarm will prompt the downflow velocity and fluctuation to suggest replacement and maintenance of filters and fans.
8.13 When the opening height of the front window of the safety cabinet exceeds the specified height of the front window operation port, the audible and visual alarm will be given and the interlocking system will be started. When the opening height falls back to the specified opening height, the alarm interlocking system will be released automatically.
